Park City Snow Service for Hotels and Lodges

Lodging winter operations

Hotel and lodge snow removal.

Hotels operate around the clock, so guest arrival, garage and valet access, luggage routes, employee circulation and loading need a phased winter plan.

Check-in and check-out create clearing windows.

Guest vehicles make complete parking cleanup difficult, but turnover periods can create useful windows for reclaiming stalls and curb lines. The scope should identify garage ramps, porte-cochère or drop-off, valet areas, shuttle stops and luggage paths that need to remain functional continuously.

Housekeeping, employees, deliveries, waste and maintenance also need back-of-house access. Their routes should be mapped separately from guest-facing areas so service can continue without blocking hotel operations.

Overnight storms need more than one pass

An opening pass may preserve garage exits and entries while snow continues, followed by detailed pedestrian work and final cleanup. Roof shedding and daytime melt can refill entrances or garage approaches later, so recurring refreeze areas should have an inspection and treatment plan.

See our pre-arrival guide and refreeze management guide.
